The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures opened April 6, 1968, as part of San Antonio's HemisFair celebration. Now it's time to look back on the past 50 years and look forward to what's to come. The institute invites the community to celebrate and mark this milestone.

  • Introduction of Texas Star Heritage Award recipients
  • Opening of ITC HemisFair exhibit, 5 - 8 p.m.
  • ITC Member Event, 7 - 9 p.m.
  • Light show

  • Back 40 open
  • Exhibit interpreters and living historians, activities and performances
  • Golden Birthday Bash, "1968 Time Warp," 7:30 p.m. - 12 a.m.
