Tex-Kits

Institute of Texan Cultures is proud to offer the Tex-Kit program! Designed to bring the heritage of Texas to life in a personal way, our Tex-Kits present the history and culture of Texas in a way that is memorable for both children and adults. Tex-Kits incorporate a wide range of topics and include an array of touchable objects. Each of the Tex-Kit programs emphasizes audience participation. Tex-Kit presentations are facilitated by our docent team in schools and other venues as requested. Presentations are designed to last 40–45 minutes for second grade through adult audiences and 30 minutes for younger children. We encourage smaller audiences so each participant has an opportunity to handle and examine the Tex-Kit objects.

For more information, including pricing and a list of all available presentation topics, download the Tex-Kit brochure. (PDF file requires Adobe Acrobat to view.)
