Aviation Poster Contest Rules

Theme
A Salute to the Centennial of Military Flight in San Antonio

Illustration Rules

  • Contact information must be written on the back of the artwork itself (name, school, email address and home phone number)
  • Must be two-dimensional
  • Must be the student’s own work
  • The poster must be no larger than 17 x 11 inches
  • Type of media is not limited. Examples: watercolor, tempera, oil, acrylic, crayon, ink, pastels, charcoal, pencil, photography or digital
  • Categories

  • Junior High (grades 4-8)
  • High School (grades 9-12)
  • Judging

    Entries will be judged on:

  • Originality
  • Visual Impact
  • Relationship of the poster to military aviation history in San Antonio
  • The decisions of the judges are final.

    Submission Deadline
    Posters must be postmarked by Feb. 1, 2010. Late entries will not be accepted.

    Awards
    Winners will be announced Saturday, March 6, 2010, at the “A Salute to Military Flight” Family Day.
