RACE: Are We So Different?
We all know that people look different. Throughout history, those differences have been a source of strength, community, and personal identity. They have also been the basis for discrimination and oppression. RACE: Are We So Different? explores three primary themes: the science of human variation, the history of the idea of race, and the contemporary experience of race and racism in the U.S.
