Can You Dig It? Adventures in Texas Archaeology! (Grades 3-5)

This interactive distance learning program will introduce students to the exciting world of archaeology, how it can help us better understand the past, and how to apply some of the same skills archaeologists use in making observations and inferences about our own culture. Led by a museum educator, this free program uses artifacts, images, and demonstrations to engage and inspire.

Hands-On History: Bringing the Past to Life with Primary and Secondary Sources (Grades 6-12)

This webinar program teaches students how to identify, analyze, and interpret primary and secondary sources using real artifacts, images, and documents from the Museum's collections.

Native Americans in Texas: A Tale of Two Cultures (Grades 3-7)

During this program, students will use selected imagery and artifacts to compare and contrast the native Caddo and Apache peoples of Texas. An excellent complement to their classroom studies, students will explore in detail the key role the natural environment played in the organization of and interactions between early cultures.
