2014 Asian Festival

Family-friendly celebration of the Chinese New Year and the cultures of Asia. Features music and cultural performances on multiple stages, authentic food, martial arts, cooking demonstrations and fine Asian gifts.

Fire crackers, Lion Dancers, martial artists and more herald the coming of the Year of the Horse. The Institute of Texan Cultures will present its annual Asian Festival, with traditional music, dance, food, martial arts demonstrations and other activities.
The family-friendly event features music and cultural performances on multiple stages. Guests can enjoy authentic Asian-American food, with Japanese, Korean, Thai, Laotian, Philippine and other delectable cuisines.
Also, the event includes cooking demonstrations, henna painting and palm reading; and fine Asian gifts including clothing, artworks, dolls, silk items and other gifts.
Adult (13 and older): Advance $8.00, Gate $10.00
Child (6-12): Advance $5.00, Gate $5.00
Children 5 and under free
Group rates available in advance only (20+): $6.00
