WHAT:

Highlighting the "Made in Texas" and "Fiesta® Medal Mania!" exhibits, Made in Texas: Family Day showcases the talents of the ITC’s docents, including leatherworking, quilting, knitting, oils and watercolors, woodworking, lace making, jewelry making and more.

 
For a truly Made in Texas experience, the Institute of Texan Cultures is offering the opportunity to make your own Fiesta medal. Other children’s activities include: Design a Fiesta Medal, quilt making, watercolor painting, and other crafts with the help of museum volunteers.

(Regular hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.)
