Institute of Texan Cultures, Asian community celebrate Year of the Snake
WHAT:
The Institute of Texan Cultures will host the 26th annual Asian Festival. The celebration of the Chinese New Year features a wide spectrum of Asian cultures and attracts event-goers from across the state.
The family-friendly event features music and cultural performances on multiple stages. Guests can enjoy authentic Asian-American food, with Japanese, Korean, Thai, Laotian, Philippine and other delectable cuisines.
Also, the event includes cooking demonstrations, henna painting and palm reading; and craft sales including clothing, artworks, dolls, silk items and other gifts.
