Institute of Texan Cultures participates in city’s arts night
WHAT:
While Luminaria moves back toward Alamo Street this year, the Institute of Texan Cultures will continue its tradition of offering free admission and programming for San Antonio's arts night. Members of the San Antonio Storytellers Association will entertain visitors into the early evening.
Currently on exhibit: “Made in Texas,” featuring the work of Texas artisans and products used around the world that have their origins in Texas; “Girl Power!” heralding the next 100 years of Girl Scouting; Arte Chihuahua, featuring the works of 18 artists residing in Ciudad Juarez, Chihuahua, Mexico; and the Texas Contemporary Artists Series, featuring the photography of Luisa Wheeler.

(The museum will maintain regular operating hours during the day: Regular hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.)
