Institute of Texan Cultures welcomes readers of all ages!
WHAT:
The Institute of Texan Cultures invites San Antonio to celebrate Read Across America, observed on Dr. Seuss’ birthday.
The day features the ITC quilters discussing their "Storybook Quilts." Volunteers will read "The Cat in the Hat" and "One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish," and other stories, including "The Legend of the Bluebonnet" and, in observance of Texas Independence Day, "Our Texas."
Activities include making a Cat in the Hat mask, coloring a Texas flag, bluebonnet craft, and a math activity for younger readers.
WHEN:
10 a.m. – 2 p.m., Saturday, March 2
Regular hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

ADMISSION:
Included with regular admission, $8 for adults (12-64); $7 for seniors (65+); $6 for children (3-11); free with membership, UTSA or Alamo Colleges identification.
