Texas Folklife Festival, June 7-9
A Three-Day Celebration of Texas Heritage
The signature event and the Institute of Texan Cultures, the Texas Folklife Festival brings Texas history and heritage to life. Across the museum grounds, visitors can find more than 40 unique cultures, represented by some 250 participating organizations.
The celebration features a menu of 150 unique food items. Musicians, dancers and entertainers perform on seven stages. More than 60 skilled artisans will share their talents, such as leatherworking, whittling, pottery, gunsmithing and more.
The Texas Folklife Festival brings the museum’s mission to life, allowing visitors to experience folkways, traditions and customs firsthand, from the people who live them.

Adult (13+): $10 in advance*, $12 at the gate
Child (6-12): $5 in advance*, $5 at the gate
Children 5 and under are FREE
Group sales: 20+ adult tickets, in advance only, for $8 each
*There may be convenience fees for advance purchase at some locations and online.
