Museum Interpreters
Museum interpreters are available to provide demonstrations and presentations in their respective areas of expertise and offer hands-on experiences for your guests. Options include the following exhibits: American Indian, Sharecropper’s House, Chuckwagon, Tejano Jacal, and the Spinning and Weaving area.
Cultural Extravaganza
Experience the Cultural Extravaganza Show! The show includes dance performances by various ethnic/cultural groups. The show is approximately 20 minutes in length. Availability of a particular group cannot be guaranteed. We do guarantee a show that features the diversity of the ethnic communities in the great State of Texas. The Dome Show
The museum's Dome Show Theater is a one-of-a-kind attraction. Showcasing 26 giant screens in a 360-degree theater, guests are surrounded by the light and sound of the museum's feature presentations. The show may be selected for one or more showings during events! Multiple screens above the seating area can also be used for projecting client logos, videos, photo presentations and more. Ask the special event coordinator for details.
Now Showing: La Fuente de Una Gran Tierra (The Wellspring of a Great Land) The ten-minute show takes guests across every major geographic area of the state, spans 150 years of Texas history and features popular Texas icons. It's a must-see for every guest!
