The Texas Folklife Festival would not be possible without the involvement of nearly 10,000 participants who come from across the Lone Star state to showcase their cultural traditions through food, music, dance, arts and crafts, demonstrations and so much more. Although the Festival is unable to pay these dedicated professionals for their hard work and dedication, food and housing is provided. Adopt-A-Participant sponsorships range from $250 to $5,000 and include such participants as the Ukrainiasn Folk Dancers to the Luling Watermelon Thump Association representatives. As an Adopt-A-Participant sponsor, your company will help defray the costs and support the on-going educational efforts of the Institute of Texan Cultures in promoting our state’s diversity and furthering cultural competence. Your sponsorship of one of these groups can help defray the cost of their visit to the Festival and help provide some of the support materials they need for their demonstration or performance. Let us match you up with a participant with the level of your contribution.
