Holiday Schedule 2016

 
The UTSA Institute of Texan Cultures will operate on the following schedule during the holiday season. Regular hours are 9 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday through Saturday; noon to 5 p.m. Sunday, with the following exceptions:

Thursday, Nov. 24 – Thanksgiving Day – Closed

Friday, Nov. 25 – Open, regular hours. This is a great opportunity to dodge Black Friday crowds, or show out-of-town family what Texas is all about.

Thursday, Dec. 1 – Holiday Splendor – Get a preview of membership benefits at the museum. Performances from the San Antonio Children’s Ballet, shopping at the museum store and more. Evening program, 6 – 8 p.m.
 
Sunday, Dec. 4 - Rock 'n' Roll Marathon - Closed

Sunday, Dec. 11 – Free Second Sunday, noon to 4 p.m. – Winter Celebrations around the World, performances by San Antonio Children’s Ballet, food drive for non-perishable goods benefitting the San Antonio Food Bank, other activities.

Sunday, Dec. 25 – Christmas Day - Closed

Saturday, Dec. 31 – New Year’s Eve – Early closure, 3 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 1 – New Year’s Day - Closed
 
Library, Special Collections and Photo Archives: Closed Dec. 19 - Jan. 8.
Archive photo requests suspended Dec. 12 - Jan. 8.
