Each year, more than 1,300 individuals and company employees from across the city volunteer their time to support the Texas Folklife Festival. From working at the gates greeting the visitors to selling souvenirs, each and every volunteer is essential in ensuring the traditions of the Texas Folklife Festival continue.
Volunteers receive a complimentary wristband for
free access to the Texas Folklife Festival all three
days.
In addition, volunteers meet new people, help others and know that your contribution of time and talents positively affects the preservation of Lone Star State’s diverse cultures.
