"The 201st Fighter Squadron: Mexico Joins the Fight in WWII," features the courageous Mexican volunteers who trained and fought alongside American soldiers during World War II. The exhibit offers a rare glimpse at a moment in history and the enduring tenacity of the generation that saved the world.
 
The exhibit features a collection of photos, plus archival materials such as unit patches, footage from Mexican documentaries, book passages and other background.
 
Curated by UTSA art collection curator Arturo Almeida and developed by researcher and doctoral candidate Mario Longoria.
