Directions UTSA's Institute of Texan Cultures is located at 801 South Bowie Street, San Antonio, Texas, in HemisFair Park beneath the Tower of the Americas and adjacent to the Henry B. Gonzales Convention Center. Complimentary parking is available. Additional paid parking is available in adjacent lots and on Durango Boulevard. The museum's physical address is 801 South Bowie Street, but guest parking and the main entrance is located off Durango Boulevard, approximately one block west of I-37. Buses should still enter off Bowie Street. GPS Coordinates From the Alamo, proceed south on Alamo Street and turn left on Durango Boulevard. Make a U-turn just before the Bowie Street traffic light and head west to the main entrance. From the Airport, take US-281 South and exit at Durango Boulevard (Exit 140B). Turn right on Durango and enter the parking lot one block down on the right. From Austin/Dallas, take I-35 South to I-37 South (Exit 158B toward Corpus Christi). Exit at Durango Boulevard (Exit 140B). Turn right on Durango and enter guest parking one block down on the right. From Houston, take I-10 West to I-37 North to Austin/Johnson City. Exit at Durango Boulevard (Exit 140B). Turn left on Durango and pass under I-37. Enter guest parking one block down on the right. From Corpus Christi, take I-37 North and exit at Durango Boulevard (Exit 140B). Turn left on Durango and pass under I-37. Enter guest parking one block down on the right. From Laredo, take I-35 North to I-10 East (Exit 153). Merge onto I-37 North (Exit 574). Exit at Durango Boulevard (Exit 140B). Turn left on Durango and pass under I-37. Enter guest parking one block down on the right. |
