Does the ITC host any special events during the year?

Oh yes! The biggest party in Texas takes place every June at the Texas Folklife Festival, which is held on the grounds of the Institute of Texan Cultures and celebrates the many unique cultures of Texas through music, food, dance and craftsmanship.

The Institute hosts the Asian Festival near the Lunar New Year.  Asian cultures from the Indian subcontinent to mainland China to Japan and the islands of the Pacific gather on the ITC grounds for a daylong event that is held in January or February.

Other special events may be added to the ITC calendar, so check back often!
