Group Tours

Reservation Policy

Groups of ten (10) or more that do not require a tour guide are not required to make a reservation. A courtesy call to (210) 458-2262 prior to your arrival is greatly appreciated.

• Groups of ten (10) or more that want a guided tour must submit their request at least ten (10) business days prior to the visit.
• Any changes to a reservation (including cancellation or modification) must be made at least three (3) business days prior to the scheduled visit to avoid billing.
• The museum will not issue refunds to guided groups that do not modify their reservation at least three (3) business days prior to the scheduled visit.  All refunds are subject to a $15 processing fee.
• Cancellations made less than three (3) business days prior to the visit will be billed in full. Groups that arrive with more participants than reflected in the original reservation will be charged regular admission rates for additional participants.

• Group name, bus company, or destination management company
• Primary contact name, e-mail address, and phone number
• Number of guests
• Preferred date and tour time
• Tour selections (exhibit floor, Back 40, geometry lab)
• Specific cultural areas you would like emphasized
• Any other special needs

Bus Parking

For group tours, complimentary bus parking is available in the bus lot on Tower of the Americas Way, formerly S. Bowie St. (via Market Street from I-35 and Commerce Street from I-37). If your group arrives in a vehicle smaller than a bus, we ask that you park in the guest lot in front of the museum. This lot can be accessed from Cesar E. Chavez Boulevard (formerly Durango).
